The High Cost Of Fattening Up America
Obesity is costing America an enormous amount, according to Rebecca Ruiz, writer at Forbes.com: "Obesity's associated costs add $93 billion to the nation's medical bill annually. Each year, 112,000 people die from obesity-related causes, and the condition is responsible for an increased risk of chronic diseases like Type 2 diabetes, cancer and heart disease."
And according to the U.S. Center for Disease Control, 32% of Americans are obese, and the figures are growing (pardon the horrible pun!).

With socialized medicine, a person's weight will be everybody's business. But with medical savings accounts, it would be none of their $%#@ business.
